FAQ

How are the prices calculated?

Our prices reflect the unique craftsmanship that goes into each individual piece.

Each of our products is carefully crafted by hand in Caltagirone, a town known for its traditional ceramic production. These handmade processes make each piece unique and it is this individuality and attention to detail that creates the value of our products.

Our prices reflect not only the cost of materials or shipping from Sicily, but also the craftsmanship and artistic dedication that goes into each individual piece. This creates unique products that are not only functional, but also carry a story and soul.

What are bonbonnières?

Bonbonnières are small containers or boxes that are often used as gifts or souvenirs on special occasions such as weddings, baptisms, communions or birthdays.

They are traditionally filled with sweets and are given to guests as a thank you for their participation and support. Bonbonnières can be made from various materials such as glass, porcelain, plastic, ceramic or paper and are often artistically decorated and personalized.

They are a loving gesture to express the host's joy and gratitude and to give guests a memory of the special occasion.

Did you make the ceramics yourself?

No, the ceramics are not made by us.

Instead, they come from Caltagirone, a town in Sicily, Italy, known for its long tradition of ceramic art. Each piece is lovingly handcrafted by skilled local artisans and bears the unique signature of this artistic community. So you can be sure that every ceramic in our shop is of the highest quality and carries the heritage and artistry of Caltagirone.
